Dan's Story
It is with great excitement that I have committed to competing in the 2024 Boston Marathon in support of Hopkinton Public Library. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to run for an amazing cause such as this Library that sits on the starting line of the Boston Marathon. After 30+ years of recreational and competitive running, this will be my first attempt at a full marathon.
With many things in life, especially education, the more we prepare, the more we invest ourselves and our time, the better the outcome we can expect. Supporting a local public library is an incredible way to dedicate the time and energy required to prepare for and execute a 26.2 mile race. I am very much looking forward to running with the HPLF team in Boston this year.
